If you're overtired, it's easy to reach for food for a pick-me-up, and most of the time it isn't something healthy that we choose. Try to keep some healthy choices on hand, such as cut-up raw vegetables, a piece of fruit, or a cup of whole grain cereal (but watch the sodium levels). That way you might not be tempted to have a piece of candy or donut.

    This is so true, it seems easy to grab the non-healthy snack food instead of the the healthy snack food. I will have to start keeping healthy snacks that I can just grab when I am not thinking about it.

    So true. When i come home at night it is getting late. I'm tired from the long day. Hardly have energy to workout after work. sometimes i do, othertimes i don't thinking that I'll get home that much sooner! Then I have the dinner routine and taking care of my loved one. I think I continue eating to try and stay awake! Perhaps it is OK just to go to bed. I have a hard time staying asleep - light sleeper and cats go crazy in the early hours! Something to ponder though! Hear your message!
