because yesterday is gone and tomorrow isn't here yet. I don't worry about yesterday and what I did or did not do. The day is already over and done with, you can't change anything. Tomorrow hasn't gotten here, so why worry about what might or might not happen. Think about TODAY . . that is what is happening now. Yes you should be "thinking" of tomorrow, but then what happens to the blessings of today? They are gone and you haven't enjoyed them while they were here. Stay in today.

Often all the stress and worries of the day seem to flood my mind when I am trying to get to sleep. I have found that if I jot down these worries on a pad, I can more easily relax and go to sleep. When I wake, I am more able to make decisions on how to best solve those problems.
In the words of Scarlet O'Hara in "Gone With the Wind," (paraphrased) " I am just not going to worry about that today. I will worry about that tomorrow."
