I do this too. Squats while waiting for my glass to fill up with water. Lunges while my coffee is brewing. Wall sits while brushing my teeth. Where-ever I can squeeze in a couple more exercises. The trick is to start moving as soon as you get up and not stop all day.

Hi to everyone, thanks for the new ideas. I drink alot of water and have to go to the restroom alot so I have been doing 5 squats and alternate the next time with 5 pushups against the sink. I usually end up doing 20 to 25 of each a day.

What a great idea! Sometimes I limit my "extra" to parking the car farther away. These are good thoughts to working muscles all day.

Sneaking in exercise
Whenever I blowdry my hair I do calf raises or squats to sneak in a few extra exercises.
I do leg extensions, wall push ups, calf raises, standing hip abductions, downward dog, etc while at work.

It's so easy to slip in these short exercises while on the phone. You don't need any special equipment or much room to do them. I find it's a great way to stay energized and focused through out the day.
When I am doing something like washing my hands or brushing my teeth I walk in place, do calf raises, or simply just bounce. It's little spurts of activity that can add up. Being sure to do a certain number of calf raises while brushing your teeth also ensures you are brushing long enough.
