If you're a carb junky like me, you need GOOD SUBSTITUTIONS!
I have found the most AMAZING substitution, Special K Lowfat Granola Cereal [touch of honey]. I don't EAT IT LIKE CEREAL! I eat it like I would eat a bag of chips in the afternoon at the office. IT WORKS. Just a half cup in a snack bag to munch on WORKS! And I am a REAL CARBOHOLIC!
When eating out, ask how the food is prepared. I'm not afraid to ask for substitutions, even when they say no substitutions. Pick out two or three dishes before hand so you have an alternative. I've had little problem getting what I want prepared how I need it prepared.
If I have a problem I speak with the manager or call the corporate office. They want my business. If it's not resolved there are plenty of other places to eat out.
