A question I see from new folks a lot is "what is a serving" - For example - 3 oz of meat is about the size of a deck of cards. A leftover joker taped to your refrigerator door marked "meat!" can be a helpful reminder. Cake - a medium post-it! Butter? A small one.

I cook using only recipies that show the total calories per serving and carbs. I will only experiment with recipies that have less than 300 calories and under 9 carbs per serving. This helps my family as well as myself to maintain control of my diet.
You only need a computer or cook book.
Buy Novelty size yogurt and measure smaller servings!
Determine which yogurt suits you best and buy the bulk (large 32oz./2lb. Novelty) container! In order to reduce calories as well as save money, scoop out smaller serving than the standard serving size. Then add your own flavorings to allow for as many variations as you'd like! The larger sizes cost less, being able to define your own serving size allows you to spend even less. A bonus is you get to control your calorie intake as well! A 180 calorie 8oz. yogurt becomes a 90 calorie 4oz. treat!
A 32oz.container holds 4 - 8oz. servings = 4 servings tl. or 2 - 6oz. servings plus 4 - 5oz. servings = 6 servings tl. or 8 - 3 oz. servings = 8 servings tl. Then add banana slices, Strawberries, Blueberries, Granola and the list only ends where you decide it does! Less money, More control!
if you is like me who is always running low on time just make your breakfast at night then in the morning just heat it up and go. never skip breakfast because you are more than likely to over eat at lunch time. 4
