When I drive to work or a store I find one of the furthest parking spots from the door and then I feel it adds steps and walking to my day. Also using stairs instead of escalators or elevators adds extra steps.
When everyone else takes the escalator I run the stairs and beat them to our destination:)
Walking laps around the house or running up & down the stairs a few times before I actually go to where I am headed.
I especially do this with laundry. I have to go up & down steps when I start laundry & when I put it away. I will go up and down the steps a few times before I actually head to the washing machine or the bedroom.
