Sounds easy, but it worked for me. Before I joined SP, I substituted diet cola for my 3-4 regular colas per day and lost 10 pounds after 3 months without changing anything else in my routine. Not only did I begin NOT to crave regular cola anymore, my sweet tooth diminished TREMENDOUSLY. I used to LOVE colas (and had a sweet tooth), so this was a baby step to eliminate regular colas entirely from my diet, and limit diet soda to less than one a day. Now it's mainly unsweet hottea for me!

Just don't drink it! Diet or Regular it is just nasty and a bad habit. I challenge soda drinkers to write down the ingredients and then research what they are and what they do to your body. One key point I want to make is Diet is not better for you than regular. Diet soda is just as likely to cause health issues, like diabetes, as regular soda. Educate yourself!
I love my cola, but it's so bad for me. I discovered the way to keep myself away from soda is whitening my teeth. After using teeth whitening strips I don't want to stain my teeth again with cola, just one more reason to stay away from it.
I have been eating less than 100g of carbs per day, and less than 25g of sugar per day. I have lost over seven pounds in two weeks. Just be sure to drink plenty of water, eat vegi's and fruit, and eat meats and cheese. I suggest unsweetened tea to stay busy. 306
I started out by replacing my coffee creamer with sweetener. Then I started drinking diet cola instead of regular cola.
