I have found that cooking big and portioning what I'm going to eat each day 4 the week on Sundays saves time & keeps me from mindless eating.It realy works I can cook one turkey & have it in wraps, stir fry's, on salads & soups all in the same week, it keeps me from getting board or having to cook. It works with chicken & beef to, I just make up 3 or 4 meals using the same meat in different ways & dishing it up in small tuppers so its easy to grab. Having cut veggies & fruit in zip lock bags so
I can add them 2 my lunch bag in the morning is grate. Pre cooked wild rice makes lunches & dinners easier 2. Quick & easy is best in my house & avoiding fast food joints with out being a slave to the kitchen is key.
