I have found that cooking big and portioning what I'm going to eat each day 4 the week on Sundays saves time & keeps me from mindless eating.It realy works I can cook one turkey & have it in wraps, stir fry's, on salads & soups all in the same week, it keeps me from getting board or having to cook. It works with chicken & beef to, I just make up 3 or 4 meals using the same meat in different ways & dishing it up in small tuppers so its easy to grab. Having cut veggies & fruit in zip lock bags so
I can add them 2 my lunch bag in the morning is grate. Pre cooked wild rice makes lunches & dinners easier 2. Quick & easy is best in my house & avoiding fast food joints with out being a slave to the kitchen is key.

I make 1 or 2 days my days to cook for the week. It takes just as long to cook oatmeal for one day as for the whole week. I then divide it into serving size containers and just 45 seconds in the microwave and I have breakfast. Can do this with everything. Some weeks I cook several times a week and freeze for a sick day when I don't have the strength to make toast. (NOT a joke)
I try to cook once a week - normally Saturdays - for the week. It is just my daughter and I and so what I do is I will make several meals at once. Then portion them into those seal and save bags. Stick them in the freezer and pull them out for lunch or dinner during the week.
You will need to keep a sink of soapy water ready to wash your dishes, and have some freezer bags ready to go. I save a lot of time at lunch and dinner - we just pick a meal, nuke it, and eat! The best part is clean up and we are both happy at mealtimes cuz we pick our frozen dinner!
I like to get up before everyone to plan ahead meals. Sometimes I have to go to meetings.Maybe just watch the local news on TV.Breakfast is the one meal I don't have to cook,During the week ,just on weekends.I'll eat3slices only of bacon .My husband brings me Bacon every weekend.I always ask him ,Why?Becauce he knows I'm trying to eat healthy.Bacon dose taste so good.During the week we usually eat ,cold cereal,corn flakes.
Besides being in the kitchen cooking I like to get out of the kitchen's get some fresh air like to walk to visit my mother's house on a warm sunny dash always finds something for me to dose live 3miles from were I lively videos are ok on rainy days,I think they can be boring.
