OATMEAL really will lower your bad cholesterol. Honestly, my husband and I have been eating oatmeal every day and both of us have seen a drop in our LDL cholesterol. (the L is for lousy)

Thanks for correcting me about LDL and HDL. I always get them mixed up. Anyway....I am addicted to oatmeal now. I really look forward to eating it for breakfast.

    HDL is the good cholesterol. I'm sure you meant a drop in your LDL (bad cholesterol).

    I agree. I eat oatmeal (old fashioned or steel cuts) every day and it has definetly brought down my LDL and total cholestrol. Exercise has helped bring up my HDL
