Allowing my husband and friends in on my goals and importantly, why I have made those goals for myself, has helped me feel that my goals are valid and reachable. Previously, my weight loss was my little secret battle, which was not sustainable method!
I think of my weight loss journey as a war. It's me against the unhealthy fat. Sometimes I win a battle and sometimes I lose, but that doesn't mean the war is over. If I mess up and eat unhealthy, then all I need to do is regroup and challenge myself to another battle. The FatWar isn't over and it won't be until I win!
