Sometimes when I am in a cardio rut I combine my exercise routines. you don't have to be a triathlete or duathlete to appreciate gym workouts that incorporate two or more cardio sessions. Say I have only 4o minutes to exercise but am burned out from the bike. I will perform a HIIT bike training for 20 minutes and immediately transition to the Treadmill for 20 minutes of run / walk exercise. It keeps your exercise fun, you can track your improvement and it shocks you out of complacency
The way I keep myself exercising every night is I download a audio book onto my mp3 player and listen to the story. I get so involved in the story that I want to exercise and forget how long I have been exercising. In order to find out what happens next in the book I have to go and exercise.
This Winter i will be busy planning for next spring and the garden. I picked up the stepper machine today so that is going to be added on my exercise routine. I keep changing so but keep some exercises to make it interesting. Do you do the same thing all the time or change up. Summer a lot of things outside.
