If you or your partner travel, you probably pick up some of the toiletries in your room When my DW & I travel, we take all of the shampoo, soap, hair covers, conditioners, etc.We don't use them, but put them in a box when we get home Many Women's and Children's shelters have a continuing need for these simple items. They buy institutional supplies, but women get just a little burst of self esteem when they have their own set of NICE soap, etc. We've been taking boxes of these items for the pas7
10 years, whenever we get a full box. Every time the ladies at the office see us coming they are excited & want to know what we brought them this time Personally, I don't understand domestic abuse & can't abide the thought of abuse from the husband - or the wife We just try to help ease the pain.

I have found that lately when I am having a bad day, I smile at a stranger I see and they 9 times out of 10 will smile back. I brighten someone else's day and they brighten mine by returning the smile!!
So when you are feeling a bit down, smile at someone and see what happens.
