Had to convince hubby to join me on SparkPeople and now he is my best buddy. So this weekend, we started a little contest by accident. We try to see who can stay within their Spark calories from food and calories burned as well as trying to outdo the other in cardio. The kids are now taking sides between me and the hubby. Naturally, my daughter is on my side and my son is on daddy's side. Try a little family competition; eating healthy and exercising becomes fun instead of work.

Will drinking lot of water curb hunger and really promote weight loss?
A small amount of evidence says people who drink water before meals eat fewer calories but noone has really shown that drinking excessive amounts of water will make you lose weight.
