It takes time for the body to accept smaller portions and healthier food as "normal". However, until it does, eating this way will feel challenging. My own body took 3 months to reach the point when I just felt too full to finish what had previously been a "normal" helping.
This taking time for the body to adapt to a NEW normal of smaller portions and healthier food is a big part of why successful weightloss doesn't happen quickly. Be patient - your body IS changing!

I find that switching it up works really well! Time to give your body another challenge. Whether it is changing something in your daily diet, to changing or adding something to your workouts! You have to change things up! Your body gets bored, just like you do!!

Such a simple yet very important aspect of a weight loss journey that I wish I could remember who said this to me....These 7 little words stuck with me... "What compliment have you given yourself today?" I took that to heart and realized that a lot of the time we focus on what we want to change about our bodies, but when we should be celebrating the postive changes no mater how big or small and by complimenting ourselves each and every day!! :)
