I now pay more attention to what I'm eating. Reading the labels make me more aware of the differences of having "good" calories versus "empty" calories. With tracking my food intake, I am able to easily stay within my suggested calorie range and at the same time, ensure I am meeting all my nutritional needs.

I use address labels to label portion sized containers with nutritional information. 17
I package portion size containers of food, like left over Turkey from Christmas. Then in the computer I copy (Ctrl + C) the nutritional information from the data base. Then I open an address label template in Word and paste (Ctrl + P) the information into as many labels as I need.
