Taking 1/2 cup baking soda and putting that down the drain and then adding 1 cup vinegar to the drain can help with clogged drains

Once a month in the bathroom sink I pour half a box of baking soda down the drain & then a pint bottle of vinegar let set half hour then take a pan of boiling water pour down the drain & have a plunger ready & plunge real good all this black gunk comes gushing up.Then I take out the drain stopper & use an old toothbrush to clean down the sides of drain. If the water in the bathtub starts to drain out too slow I use this method also
