Because I am of small stature, I choose to stay within a three pound range (i.e. 120-123 lbs.) When my weight creeps toward the upper end, I know it's time to get back on track - before I go crazy gaining weight. I had planned to have a five pound range, but I fine-tuned it to three. Works for me.

I'm short too, good to know since I'm just starting out. I'm planning ahead to keep it off for a lifetime. I will remember to keep it within a 2 lb range. Thanks!

Me, too. I do the same. Tracking works.

I'm also short with a small frame so a five lb. wt gain on me means I can't breathe when I zip my pants, and I'm very uncomfortable. I weigh myself daily to keep it from creeping up because it's easier to NOT gain it in the first place than try to lose it. I gained those 5 lb. this summer after breaking my arm & not being able to exercise. It's taken Spark to get it off!!

Expect plateaus just keep following your calorie tracking and work out
I've noticed when people get to the last 10 to 15 lbs or if that is all you have to lose it is harder to lose and stops "melting off"...this is the time to keep with the program, as long as you keep tracking and staying the the calorie range and exercising as you have been after a few weeks you should conquer the plateau!! It seems to be esp hard to get below 130lb weight range for some reason...
Not weighing in until Sunday - 'cause I was out at a 75th birthday party last night & ate an unusually large amount of food. I'm usually good about it - but yesterday was an exception. So why bum myself out when I know I'll be back in my normal weight range & losing again by Sunday. Gonna eat healthy & continue working out til then & get a REAL reading :)
