Today's article on the front page is about pain patches for relief of muscle pain. I have found a great method to relieve or stop sore muscles before it happens. It's called contrast therapy. You get in the shower, put the water on as cold as you can stand it for 30 secs. Then, you switch the water to as hot as you can stand it for about 1 min. Then switch back to cold. Do this for about 4-5 cycles, and you can concentrate on muscles that you have strenuously worked out.

The theory behind this is that sore muscles are caused by build-up of lactic acid in your muscles. By alternating hot and cold water, it causes the blood vessels to constrict and expand, pumping blood through your muscles and flushing out the lactic acid. It really works!

Today I was really craving chocolate, like almost wandering through the cabinets hoping to find some, binge kind of craving.
