I was reminded at the gym this morning (seeing half-hearted workouts around me) that just because you're moving doesn't mean that you're necessarily getting fitter and stronger, though it's a good start. As you're thinking about how you're improving, work out until you're tired....then go just a little bit further to build endurance.

I live in the country, far from all of the gyms. I have trouble motivating myself to walk on the treadmill, but walking the dog is not just good for me, it's good for her too! She is better behaved the more often and the longer we walk. We go out in the mornings right after the school buses have left. We go a little bit further each day and we both feel better for it.224
