I have been putting all of my change in a bank thing that i have around my house . I throw the change in the bottom of my pocketbook and the end of each week i put it in my piggy bank i started it about 2 months ago and i counted it last might i already have 35 dollars in change...

I do this too. . .it really adds up. We started doing it will all our change & $1's, we start January 1st and and take it to the bank as close to January 1st as of the next year. Our change alone for the year was $807. . .the $1 made it almost $2000. . .keep it up, you will be amazed!

I don't spend any dimes or nickels that I receive in change. They all go into a ceramic turtle bank that I have. When its full, I may just leave it and start putting money in something else. Or cash it in and put it in a savings account

I do the same thing . My husband and I cashed in the money from our water jug last year and ended up with $2000.00. Boy were we happy!!!

Yes, it does add up quickly; I put my change in a green zip purse and leave it at home when I shop. Then I just add to it when I want.

If you are really on a budget try this just put away a dollar a week. Buy a piggy bank or even a coffee can and just do it Yes it is only 52 dollars a year but you can consider it a small goal like finally opening a bank account!
