I do this too. . .it really adds up. We started doing it will all our change & $1's, we start January 1st and and take it to the bank as close to January 1st as of the next year. Our change alone for the year was $807. . .the $1 made it almost $2000. . .keep it up, you will be amazed!

Saving my change is my secret way of saving. I feel that it is against the rules to spend the change.

I don't spend any dimes or nickels that I receive in change. They all go into a ceramic turtle bank that I have. When its full, I may just leave it and start putting money in something else. Or cash it in and put it in a savings account

I do the same thing emoticon . My husband and I cashed in the money from our water jug last year and ended up with $2000.00. Boy were we happy!!!

Yes, it does add up quickly; I put my change in a green zip purse and leave it at home when I shop. Then I just add to it when I want.
