We all know that drinking water is important to overall health. But, it can help prevent colds and flu, too, especially when you wash your hands after going to the bathroom -- all that constant hand washing keeps you free of germs!
Just make sure to wash with warm water and soap (no need for it to be anti-bacterial) for about 30 seconds, and use a paper towel on the bathroom door handle in case someone isn't as fastidious as you are!
Washing hands often is good but make a conscious effort to keep your hands away from your face. No rubbing your eyes, nose, mouth etc. A great way to introduce germs that you have picked up on your hands.
