I find that drinking a cup of coffee about 1:30 - 2:00 in the afternoon keeps me from feeling so hungry. It's almost like a little snack. It gives me a boost of energy too, which I think keeps me from feeling like I want to eat.

Whether it's in the afternoon or evening, I'll make a cup of decaf coffee and I avoid eating junk. (Granted, the coffee has creamer in it, but it's lower in calories than the candy or pastry I could grab!)
I take cereal to work in re-usable containers. I take the milk in my re-usable coffee cup. Keeps the cereal crispy, milk cold, and I don't use the office Styrofoam, so it's good for the environment! 140287
I then use my coffee cup for coffee after I pour the milk in my cereal!
