Mismatched/old Socks

I never throw away socks. They are good to put on your hands or kids hands as a dust catcher. I like to use them to dust off electronics, air intakes, and anywhere that the kids can reach :) They also work well to use as a dry erase eraser.

MORE INFORMATION:
I keep my bag of socks on a hook under my kitchen sink so that they are handy.

I take small socks and stick them into the larger socks. When the larger sock is full, I sew the end shut and make it into a stuffed toy by adding buttons for eyes, a few pieces of yarn for hair. Sometimes I sew a mouth with scraps of rickrack or I'll draw it on with a fabric pen. The kids love 'em and it doesn't take long to make. emoticon

I had never thought of that idea...will have to try that when cleaning my vents and ceiling fans.

KIVAMUSKOPF, I have a small laundry especially for rags and items like these socks. Although most of the time they are truly garbage after they are used for dusting and such.

how do you keep them from getting mixed in with your wearable socks in the laundry???

Some of them can be made into sockpuppets! emoticon
