245 When I get on my scale daily or weekly , I want to have the right mental attitude ! I have never liked the scale , I have not thrown it across the room yet ! I hate stepping on it ! I remember being 60 to 70 lbs. heavier and I was not lifting weights either. I was FAT ONLY ! The scale gives me a BAD ATTITUDE !
I find that keeping positive and letting go of the past helps me start brand new . I tell myself to remain positive as I am growing older ! I walk/bike/row 4 to 5 miles mon-fri and I cycle about 60 miles per weekend ! If my BMI is 22-23 and my body fat is under 30 % ,for me I am happy! 244
I like to cook & bake but hate measuring things like flour & olive oil - I always make a mess. So today I used my food scale to see just how much a cup of flour weighs, a Tbl of oil, etc. & wrote all the weights & measures a 3x5 card, which is now taped to the inside of the cupboard door. Now I can just put the mixing bowl or pot/pan on the scale & add the ingredients without having to spill flour everywhere trying to get it in the measuring cup.
