I have my start page on my computer set to spark people, so the first thing I see in the morning is this site. Then I go to the sparkpoints and NO MATTER HOW I DID THE DAY BEFORE I go through each step and complete it. It educates me and motivates me to continue taking baby steps that I know will make a difference. I have time because I've made TAKING CARE OF ME my second job - and I'm worth it!

One thing you can do to help you get used to SparkPeople is to go to My Tools at the top left side of the page. Move your cursor over it and a drop down menu appears. Find My SparkPoints toward the bottom of the column. From there you can see all of the ways to earn SparkPoints. By clicking any of these choices you can not only earn SparkPoints but also learn about different aspects of SparkPeople and what it has to offer.
Read an insider tip, write a blog, read SP blogs and articles, track your food and fitness, search the web, make an appointment, leave a message on the message board, look for a sparkrecipe to try out, track other goals, update your status, etc.
Making sure to go on sparkpeople everyday and go down the list of Sparkpoints keeps me doing the things that are best for me! I track what needs to be tracked, interact with my support community, and learn something new everyday!
