Secrets of Success

Water, Water everywhere but not a drop to drink...don't know where this came from but I remember saying it when I was little. Anyway, what I want to talk about is the importance of water. It gives me energy, makes me feel fuller, clears my system etc. Basically I just feel better when I've had my 8.

  • The quote is actually from Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. For the record, this is the very first post I've ever responded to. It's the doctorate in literature that made me do it. :)

    I have a terrible time remembering to drink a lot of water throughout the day. I usually drink loads of it late at night--I guzzle it. But this is a good reminder to do better at drinking water throughout the day. I have been doing so well for a couple of weeks and I feel like I'm losing steam. Maybe just focusing on my water consumption will be a good small step to get back on track. Though I must add that the verse before that which you have quoted above seems entirely appropos to my current state:

    Day after day, day after day
    We stuck, nor breath, nor motion;
    As idle as a painted ship
    Upon a painted ocean.

    It's one of my favorite poems! - by UNDRGRNDWOMAN
