Almonds are a great source of nutrients for men and women alike - but too many is too much. I buy my almonds in the shell and when I want to snack on one, I have to crack it open to get at it. This slows me down, but I still get the almond.
If I cannot get it in the shell, I buy a package and put 12-14 in a baggie, spray them with PAM LIGHT and then drop in either some cinnamon or some spicey pepper to add a healthy kick.

Instead of paying extra for "100 calorie snack packs", I buy a regular package of healthy snacks, and portion them out into snack bags. This gives me the ability to grab a quick snack without eating more than a single serving, and saves money.
I also re-use the bags, since I generally like the same kinds of snacks!
I am loving my Vitamix ! As of late I have been tossing a couple of carrots & an apple into the vita with some water and voila juice! I add all different things in there too ~ cucumber, tomato, parsley, cilantro, beets etc. I can also make a quick soup without ever touching the stove. Most everything is filling and nutritious, a great quick snack, or part of a meal.
