Crank out 100 crunches easily by doing what are called pyramid crunches.
- First do 25 (pause) - Then 20 (pause) - Then 15 (pause) - Another 15 (pause) - Then 10 (pause) - Then 5 (pause) - Then 4, followed by 3, then 2, then 1
Done! That's 100 crunches (check my math). You'll see that because the count decreases with each set, it's not as daunting as doing 100 straight, yet you still get the same benefit. Try it!

HOW LONG SHOULD THE PAUSE BE ??? CAN IT BE UP TO TWO MINUTES?

This sounds like making ab work fun & I'd be much more likely to stick to it than trying to do 100 at one time. Thanks for the tip! I also do most of my crunches on the balance ball - it gives you a little more range of motion and I feel it protects my lower back better than trying to keep good form on the floor.

it depends on the person you may find that you won't even need that long. I personally just take a few moments to breathe in, breath out, in, out, and then I'm back at it on my next set. Listen to your body and you'll do great!

Ab crunches while driving :)
You can easily do crunches while driving...just be sure you're sitting correctly and pull your ab muscles in and release. I can easily fit in 100 on my way to work... Sometimes to challenge myself, I hold them in for an entire song - much harder than it sounds :)
Every morning the first thing I do is push myself to do a minimum of 100 crunches. This helps me not to have a huge breakfast. Often I end up doing a ten minute routine in the process and wind up working out 2X's in one day - all with just starting with 100 crunches!319

I would like to introduce you to the Kangaroo brand pocket bread! I've had both the multigrain (not 100% whole grain) and the 100% whole wheat. The company has a patented method to make pita bread that opens up to easily hold several ounces of whatever you like in your pita. I've put 3 ounces of chicken in and still have room for some veggies! Easily accommodates a scrambled egg or two with some veggies or meat.
