It doesn't take much more time to make a double batch of something and freeze it than to make only one batch. I do this with things that will freeze well and it is so nice to just go to the freezer and pull out something.

    I do this as well, I love my crockpot for this! I make a full crockpot, keep enough out for dinner and DH's lunch the next day, then freeze the rest!

    I've been doing alot. makes it a lot easier to have a healthy meal on busy days rather than ordering in.
