When I'm doing cardio workout on a machine, I always set the time 20 minutes and then add time in 5 minute increments. I feel more accomplished "adding" 25 minutes to my work out than struggling to get to 45 minutes in one time (esp if I can't push myself to finish the whole time)

I read about this idea in a magazine discussing organizing storage of canned food.It is about labelling the SHELVES OF THE PANTRY closet . I decided to try this and it works for me! I list all my canned soups/dinner mixes in one area;cereals, breakfast foods, coffee in another area and so forth. I t has helped me in a variety of ways--my hubby & child[who can read at his young age of 3] know where the various foods go without HAVING TO ASK ME and my 3 yo puts away only the lightweight..,
...items like paper towels on the bottom shelf. He practices his reading,my hubby LEARNS where things go,I can see if I 'm out of different items and I GET SOME HELP FROM THE FAMILY!
My sisters and I will often buy bulk items and split it and the cost between us, 10 pounds of potatoes would be much too much for just DH and I. But split 4 ways it's just enough. When one of us sees a bargain, we'll call the others to see if they need or want to share.
Recent bargains: 5lbs sharp cheddar cheese: 10.50 (5.25 split with one sister)
25lbs organic long grain brown rice: 23.00 (Split 3 ways)
