no credit cards for a month

i am using cash only....i figured out about what i need weekly for food gas extras....put in envelopes....when i am using cash only...pack of gum 1.49 give 2.00 dont spend change either...at the end of the month use left over to pay down charge card...when done deposit into saving,,,this is working for me paid off two credit cards

Record every penny you spend, whether it be using cash or card.

This'll highlight to you how much, if any, you throw away each month.

It's so easy to just buy the odd coffee but before you know it you've blown a lot on something you may not have had spare cash for
