Need Mashed Banana? Just Squeeze It In The Peel, Then Peel.

I was making batches of banana bread for the freezer and it was taking awhile to mash bananas that were medium ripe. Finally, I decided to squeeze the banana first before peeling. It needed little or no more mashing with a fork after that. It saved time and was far easier.

My family will not eat ripe bananas, they prefer them a bit green. So I place the ripe bananas in the freezer peel and all. Then as I need them I grab what I need & place under running warm water to remove the peel. The bananas thaw very quickly & work great in banana bread, muffins, or even pancakes.
I use the frozen bananas in smoothies - the perfect way to sweeten it up. Recently I found that my family loves to eat sliced frozen bananas - another great treat for the summer. Hope you enjoy! 20
Here Are Other Items That Should Never Be Put in Trash
1.Overripe Bananas - Mushy brown bananas may look unappealing, but when peeled & put into baked goods or frozen and popped into the blender with other smoothie makings, they are the key ingredient. You can even benefit from the peels by tossing them into the garden to make great fertilizer! If you donít need them now, just peel & freeze them for future use. 2.The Ends of Scented Candles - After your scented candles have burned down to their wicks, you can still coax some aroma out (con't)
& into your environment by heating the wax on the stove. Just place your candle in a glass jar in saucepan with a bit of water in it. Make sure the water doesnít spill into the wax or the jar. Turn the stove on a low heat and slowly warm the excess wax. As it melts, it will fill your house with fragrance.
