I was making batches of banana bread for the freezer and it was taking awhile to mash bananas that were medium ripe. Finally, I decided to squeeze the banana first before peeling. It needed little or no more mashing with a fork after that. It saved time and was far easier.

    I just figured out this little tip myself not too long ago. It works great and you don't have to dirty your masher. Thank you for sharing :)
