The only thing water can do in quench your thirst. Individual water needs vary and many foods are a valuable source of fluid, not just sticking to the unproven theory that water helps you loose weight.

I like diet cranberry with 2 grams of sugar by Oceanspray...I mix half of A GLASS WITH WATER. Still counts toward fluid intake.

Drinking water takes a lot of effort for me......I like favored watered. However, now I don't like the artificial sweeteners

i drink one 8 oz glass of water before I put any food in my mouth. Makes me fill fuller quicker and I notice I am not hungry after eating my small meals or snacks. I never get headaches anymore ( dehydration is the number one reason for headaches) and I don't get thirsty anymore either ( which is your bodies way of telling you are already dehydrated) Water is a huge help for many things!!

It seems the more I drink water the less I want to eat food. Whenever I feel hungry I down two or three glasses of water. Granted, it only keeps me satiated for 40 minutes or so but that means just drink more water. I also COMPLETELY STOPPED drinking diet soda. I only had two a day but I found that I craved sugars more whenever my main beverage was a sweet one.
