Eat Slowly

I've found eating slowly chewing each bite and having a large glass of water with food helps fill me up. I often think there's not enough on my plate but you'd be suprised how small your stomach is. Taking time to eat allows your body time to tell your brain it's full. Try it and see.

  • I know this is true, especially the eating slowly, but I find it so much easier said than done. Thanks for the reminder ... I'm going to try and make a conscience decision to do try this for the next few days. - by LJ1225

So easy to agree with yet so difficult to do, lol. I guess the best thing to do is practice, practice, practice! Thanks for the reminder. - by ALEXANDRA64
  • So true! I think that if you eat slowly it gives your body's chemical balance a chance to make the adjustments so that your brain the "fed" message. emoticon - by CBDREWS
