Brown Rice - Shorten The Cooking Time

Members Were Sparked
This Sparked Me!

Did you know you can pre-soak your brown rice and thereby shorten the cooking time? Just 1 hour of pre-soaking will cut as much as 10 minutes of cooking time and your rice will be fluffier too.

If you use chicken, vegetable or beef broth it will also add some flavor to the rice.

After cooking, let the rice sit in the pot for about 10 minutes (with lid on) to complete the cooking.
