I post this as something that worked for my hubby& myself[having been married 12 years now with one child].When we were engaged,my hubby-to-be bought a 'GETTING READY FOR MARRIAGE "WORKBOOK--How to really KNOW the person you're going to marry by Jerry D.Hardin & Dianne C.Sloan.It has you fill out questionaires about money, sex, attitudes, beliefs, your family backgrounds, family planning & children among other topics. The idea is COMMUNICATION~you each fill out the questionnaires separately...
then DISCUSS THEM! We felt that the "baggage" each person brings into the marriage-especially attitudes toward saving/spending $,to have kids or not and how we each resolve conflict were IMPORTANT ENOUGH to DISCUSS IN DEPTH BEFORE THE "I DOs"! It served as a helpful guide for us & may help others!

Instead of 3 big meals and a couple of snacks, I tend to eat smaller portions - but lots of them! Eating every couple of hours keeps my blood sugar levels from fluctuating, keeps me fueled for whatever activity I'm engaging in, and stops me from ever feeling starved.
