Popcorn is actually good for you. A cup of plain air popped popcorn has only 30 calories. Popcorn has few health benefits but the key benefits are that it provides fiber, B complex vitamins and calcium. Popcorn is starchybut packed with fiber. Fiber helps slow digestion, making you feel full longer. A good snack for dieters and diabetics.
Three cups of popcorn is considered a 1-ounce equivalent from the grains group or 1 starch exchange

    I love popcorn, I spritz it with olive oil and sprinkle lemon pepper and give it a good toss...YUMMMY

    I love it too...drenched in oh so fattening butter! Freshly popped movie popcorn is my favorite! YUM! Lately I've been eating either air popped (no butter) or 94% fat free microwave.
