Secrets of Success

No More Salad Dressing!

I love eating salad and I eat it at least once a day. Unfortunately, the salad is wonderful, the salad dressing is not! I'm not willing to spend my precious calories on fat and calorie leaden salad dressing. So, I use just a little salt and pepper on my salad. It curbs the craving of spicy/salty part of the dressing and there is hardly no calories!! My salad is now healthy and I can eat without guilt! emoticon

  • I make my own "Ranch" dressing with nonfat Greek yogurt, skim milk, salt, pepper, garlic, cayenne and lemon juice. Even just a couple tablespoons of the yogurt adds protein to your salad as well. - by KENDILYNN
Also try dijon mustard mixed with lemon juice and garlic. Deeelish! - by GEMAGACH
  • You may also want to try apple cider vinegar on your salad. Just enough for flavor. I'm going out on a limb, but you may also shake some of your favorite Mrs. Dash into your salad. It's salt free. emoticon - by MARELNAT
  • Forget the salt, please. Enjoy Ken's Light Options Italian with romano and red pepper. It has only 2 carbs, 1 sugar and for 2 tablespoons only 45 calories. 230mg of salt which isn't terrible. Tiss and toass til everything is coated. emoticon - by SUNSHINE6442
