I'm a big believer in positive affirmations, especially since my friend who is a neuro psychiatrist told me repeating positive (or negative) statements actually forms little groves in the brain. This then becomes your reality. So, I post affirmations in different places and repeat the affirmation
out loud when I see it. The one I'm currently working on is, "I'm learning it's okay to make mistakes." Not easy for someone who thinks she has to be perfect.
A friend introduced me to Louise Hay. I bought her "You can heal yourself" kit with positive affirmation cards. I use those and some I made myself. I read them 10 times a day to do a "set" of positive affirmations - just like any exercise!
