When I first started this weight loss, lifestyle change adventure I was under the assumption (with myself) that I had to completely cut out my all-time favorite food...chocolate! But a few weeks ago I broke down and had an Almond Snickers bar and dang near had a nervous breakdown for doing so. I beat myself up over it, until I realized that this is a lifestyle change, and my lifestyle consists of chocolate, and that if I force myself to stay away from the things that I want, the more it is only
going to push me toward it, and quite possibly overindulge. So I decided that as long as I only have a little bit, and not all that often (just enough to settle the craving), then I am doing okay. No need for the brow-beating...LOL :)
