My bank offers a "Bank the rest" option for my debit card. Every time I use my card, the total is automatically rounded up to the nearest dollar and the extra $ goes into a Money Master account. Without even trying, I've saved over $30 in the last month. A few cents per day sure does add up!

Check your local banks but you can also do direct banking with many banks nationwide. Over the years, I have found great interest rates on CDs, IRAs, Money Market accounts and savings accounts. Check out bankrate.com. Costco offers great banking services, too... (click on title for more info)

Also check out local credit unions for savings rates & rates on mortgages & other loans. I was able to refinance my mortgage with a lower interest rate w/ no closing costs at my credit union & saved thousands by paying it off early.
Have your bank round up to the nearest dollar or five dollars with each transaction and transfer that change to a savings account. Youll save a few hundred dollars a year without doing anything or noticing.
