I really dont' like fresh fruit or vegetables. I I came up with this from the baby food diet (which I don't really suggest anybody follow) but I mentioned it to my MD and she thought is was a good way to get in my daily fruit and vegetables. She had wanted me to eat a little throughout the day and I found my quick snack choices were usually sugary or carb laden. By eating these portions of natural fruits and verggies I'm snacking more wisely.

If it works, great, but it's really not a substitute for fresh fruits and veggies because you don't get the benefit of the fiber when it pureed like that.
The skin and intact flesh on actual f/v aids digestion and helps keep you "regular". There's also no hidden ingredients like added sugar or sodium in intact f/v, whereas many baby foods often contain significant sugar and sodium.

Baby Food has lots of sugar. Check it out before you eat it. Natural and fresh or raw fruits and veggies are the best.

i use the fruits in baby food in my banana breads, smoothies and any other baking. It is convenient and in the perfect form for baking. not to mention seasonal! Good job! putting your health first is awesome!
