I find that if I prepare my breakfast and lunch the night before, my work day goes a lot better.

I put together my oatmeal and then microwave it before I leave for the office. That way it's ready to eat when I get here.

I also prepare my lunch and snacks. This way I'm not tempted by the vending machines and I don't skip lunch (which causes a chain reaction of overeating when I get home)

    I know this takes more time and effort but it pays off in the long run. I have to make myself do it.

    I second your idea. I find that organization and preplanning of meals makes it so much easier to stay on track.
