Diabetics and people with high blood pressure should not eat licorice. It can lower potassium levels and create heart problems. Licorice also helps the body to reatin sodium and can interfer with normal heart function
Eat nothing Licorice! People with high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, diseases of kidney, heart, or liver and menstrual problems or on ace-inhibitors, diuretics, aspirin, digoxin or insulin should never eat licorice.
