Plateau's are part of healthy and normal weight loss...chart your weight loss and make small changes in anticipation of them. Sometimes it's just avoiding salt, sugar or even something as simple as just drinking a little extra water...point is, it is normal, it is healthy and it is part of your weight loss journey! The more you chart, and in turn learn to anticipate them, the easier it is to overcome the plateau...it may be a matter of weeks or a month BUT it does pass...stay positive!!!

I agree 100%. It also helps to track other things too, like energy or sleep patterns. That was how I knew I was less motivated at some points of the month than others, and knew that the motivation would come back if I just stuck with it!
Do you have someone in your household that can't help but spend money all the time, sometimes making them see the big picture can help them realize their problem. For example: Do they buy everyday at lunch instead of bringing lunch to work? Sometimes when they hear that big number they re-think.

Calculate and then tell them how much they average a month. if they spend at least 10 dollars a day (on lunch) x by 5 working days, then x by 20 working days...you 1000 dollars a month and they are wondering where their money goes, thats alot of money.
