I try to make 50% of every meal I eat vegetables. It particularly helps when I am away from home, I automatically fill my plate half full with salad, then add the protein and carbs.

My doctor told me to do this too. Sometimes I get tired of chewing all the vegies, but it tastes so good. I also heard that the act of chewing helps reduce stress.

I am eating more vegetables now than before,and every morning I make my own veggies juice and it is Great,I love in that way I get more veggies in my day, and the next thing I don't use Salad Dressing,only use lemon with a little Olive oil.

i been more salad but i love salad dressing omg 2 tbs 150 cal and all the sodium wow now that makes me sad!! i dont like any of the low cal dressings or low cal anything for that matter anyone have suggestions?

All I can say is portion control! It is important! I eat 50% veggies and fruits, 25% protein ( fish, chicken, etc...) and 25% whole grains.... I have lost and kept it off this way! Oh yeah! Lots and lots of water to go with it!!!!
