When it comes to food, clothing, I learned from my grandma. Grow your own or buy locally. Make your own clothes, buy used or on clearance especially if you're only passing through the sizes! Get used to not spending much and you'll find you don't need much! Even in decorating this idea works.
I only buy used books. Every year our community has a used book sale. I get there early to look for the books on my list for $1.00 or $2.00. Then I go back on the last day and fill a bag with books at the reduced price of $5.00 a bag.
After I read them I donate them back. The money raised goes to charity.
To save money while adding variety to your exercise program:
1. Borrow exercise videos from the library. 2. Trade videos with friends. 3. Check out flea markets for cheap videos. 4. Walk...........it's free. 5. Buy used videos. 6. Check out gyms in your area. Many offer free trial memberships.
