I've been having gallbladder flare-ups lately and taking 1 to 2 HCL Betaine with every meal containing fats and proteins has eliminated my pain and made my gallbladder very happy. I also throw in a couple of food enzyme capsules and avoid rich, fatty meats and other foods.

I have a cup of Honey Bunches of Oats and cup of blueberries with nonfat milk every morning. It is actually my favorite meal of the day. Cashews are lower in fat than most nuts and have the same the same monounsaturated fat found in olive oil. Diabetics usually have high triglycerides. So for the diabetic having monounsaturated fat is a good idea to protect your heart. People with existing and untreated kidney or gallbladder problems may want to avoid eating cashews so check with your doc if you have kidney or gallbladder problems
