I am a coffe drinker and love my creamer, but I am going to start using half-n-half in my coffee instead of the creamer. I am trying to get rid of all the "partially hydrogenated" things in my diet. So I am switching to half-n-half and Truvia. If I have to I can drink the coffe black . . I didn't think I could, but I tried it the other day and I found that needing the creamer is all in my head
New year . . new goal!!! I am going to eat healthier this year! I have to for me!!

I really enjoy those flavored coffee creamers around the holidays, like Pumpkin Spice & Peppermint Mocha, but there are 35 - 45 calories in 1 tblsp!! So I allow myself 1 tblsp of flavored creamer and 1 tblsp fat free half-n-half. You get the flavor minus lots of calories 271
I use it instead of coffee creamer because it has no strange chemical ingredients (as flavored creamers do) and no added sugars (like the fat free half and half - there's more in there than just milk and cream, I've discovered.) You can also use it to add richness to soups, smoothies, eggs, etc.
I like milk, but sometimes I just feel burnt out on it...and coffee with creamer and sugar just add to many calories and fat, but sugar free coffee syrups with a mixture of half coffee and half milk make a great sweet treat - hot OR cold. Helps, cut back on the caffiene, I use skim so it is non-fat protein and good calcium and the sugar free syrups turn the whole thing into a nice sweet treat!
