I think the key to weight loss is being honest with yourself about how you got to the place you do not want to be. Once you realize this, it is easier to make a plan to get back to where you want to be. Tracking food was a real eye opener for me thanks to this website.

Once you start to track your food, it is easier to choose recipes for your last meal of the day to stay within your calorie range. It also helps to track your fitness daily because you can really guilt yourself into being active.
